Pendrell's meditation garden
is a treasure in the middle of Vancouver. While Pendrell's suites have all
had Hollywood action filmed within them, so has our garden!
Kung Fu star Jet Li (Li Lian
Jie to our offshore friends) had two fights against the bad guys in Joel
Silver's feature film "Romeo Must Die." Jet jumped off the balcony into the
garden, through which Aaliyah had walked to reach her suite.
Aaliyah, the actor/singer whose
meteoric rise in film was dashed by a plane crash a few years ago, played
Jet's love interest in the film--we were Oakland, CA, in that one--and her
hip-hop digs are on that side of the building.
Also ideal for intimate weddings
or reaffirmation ceremonies, this area is extremely private and hidden from
street view, which makes it a favourite for our clients who treasure anonymity.
Guest Capacity: 75 people. (However,
this space can be exapanded with renting either Agent Scully's Suite and/or
Suite 1, which both open out onto the garden. Each of these suites increases
reception capacity by 40 people.
Medation Garden rental varies
by time-of-day and season. Please inquire for details. There is no food
and beverage minimum.
